TopSchools is recruiting a Secondary School Maths Teacher for a K-12 school with Chinese national and British curriculums in Qingdao which requires candidates to be on board in Aug 2019.

Job Description:
a) Teach mathematics classes and work with Chinese co-teachers collaboratively.
b) Prepare materials for the classes and exams.
c) Prepare lesson plans including a variety of visual aids, textbooks and creative projects for the
classes.
d) Set appropriate tasks and challenges for homework according to the published timetable, and ensure that it is regularly marked with constructive feedback.
e) Grade homework, tests and complete regular progress reports.
f) Provide occasional open classes for observation and promotion events.
g) Attend weekly meetings
h) Encourage students throughout the learning process and maintain a positive classroom environment.
i) Encourage and foster intellectual curiosity among students.
j) Check that all subject matter is effectively communicated and understood by all groups of students.

Requirements:
a) Native English Language speaker
b) 3+ years relevant classroom experience
c) Mathematics teaching experience and professional teaching license
d) BA degree or above, Degree in Maths education preferred
e) Be familiar with GCSE and A-level Mathematics courses
f) Accepting of Chinese culture
g) Ideal candidate must be a serious, career oriented teacher with stable personal life.
h) Bring a willingness to combine their western expertise with Chinese culture to present the best of both worlds for the students.

Salary and Benefits:
a) Salary (before tax) : 23,000RMB/month + housing allowance (before tax) :3000RMB/month
