Description
The major objective of this position is to establish, monitor and improve Provider Steering framework and process for key vendors, which business teams or IT actively manage and to engage with on provider management topics such as purchasing. Meanwhile, to support business teams and IT to be complaint with regulatory and BMW SF guidelines by implementing the steering process.

Major Responsibilities.
1.Setting up and refine the framework, model, process, tools and documentation for provider steering, and drive the roll out of enhancement & execution.
2.Ensure steering process to be compliant with internal and external outsourcing frameworks & regulations, support on risk management enhancement. Provide reports to relevant functions, and provide necessary tools.
3.Perform vendor segmentation execution and performance steering, complete quarterly Vendor Performance Dashboard, and trigger required corrective actions. Enable business to setup and review relevant KPIs to steer the vendor performance.
4.Provide training and consultancy to the organization for Provider Steering related topics (such as the provider steering processes or purchasing related activities), provide support on contract management and cost management.
5.Work closely with vendor relationship manager or contract/provider owner to improve performance of the third party vendors and enhance the relationship between SF and vendors.
6.To strengthen the partnership with BMW China Purchasing department. Ensure adherence to this framework and the included guidelines. Monitor progress of key tenders.
7.Drive provider management maturity assessment & continuous improvement process, present the status or key issues to steering committees.
8.Adhoc tasks from line manager.
Qualifications and experience
Education / Degree:
Bachelor or above

Knowledge / Skills /Competences
1.Knowledge of key IT and non-IT vendors in banking or AFC industry
2.Process improvement methodologies
3.Project management
4.Communicative and able to influence without authority (in both English and Chinese)
5.Vendor management
6.Purchasing
7.Strong presentation skills and ability to illustrate complex aspects in a simple way (PowerPoint)
8.Good analytical skills and ability to see patterns and trigger corrective actions using dashboards (excel)
