Job Description
- Ensure a seamless delivery of payroll processes to in-country end users
- Support the Institutional productivity and T&C transformation agenda
- Reports to the Head of T&C (Talent & Culture), China
About The Role
Role Location: Shanghai
Role Type: 1 year fixed-term contract
As the T&C Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the seamless delivery of payroll processes to in-country end users. In this role, you will deliver operational, payroll, and fulfilment activities and contribute to the wider China team.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Owning & delivering allocated work and ensuring that end-to-end HR processes are followed and executed within defined service level agreements
- Partnering with in-country end-users and HRBPs (Human Resource Business Partners) to provide seamless payroll operations
- Providing guidance on escalated matters and resolving issues to achieve customer centric outcomes
- Improving the employee experience through improved capabilities and better quality delivery
- Managing internal audit requirements of HR Operations processes
- Backup administration of tax reporting of payroll and benefits related tax activities
- Fostering and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels (including senior business leaders)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
- Experience in local HR Payroll Operations and Tax reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good analytical, time management, and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English & Mandarin)
