TITLE Technician
BUSINESS UNIT IFM
REPORTING TO Facilities Manager
DIRECT REPORT POSITIONS Nil

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Overall Technical responsibility of facilities service delivery for client site.

POSITION GOALS

• To manage comprehensive engineering and facilities management services. To achieve financial and other KPIs established by the Client, and Site Facilities Manager. Delivery of services in accordance with the client Management Agreement SLA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The Senior Technician must be a team player and work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract.
• Responsible for site facilities operation.
• Establish Operational procedures and roll out for site staff
• Responsible for delivery of services in accordance with client’s Management SLA
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations
• The single point of technical issue for FM at the site.
• Implement the energy management programs to reduce the cost on utilities.
• Managing all contract vendors to carries out technical audits/ maintenance as schedule
• Develop of technical service standard
• Initiate planning of Critical Environment procedure
• Provide solutions for technical issue
• Initiate a system to measure the quality of performance on a quarterly basis
• Initiate Preventive Management Program
• Responsible for Early involvement in Facilities Operation and provide advisory service during - Site Inspection and Project Development
• Solution Provision for minor projects and coordinating with contractors/vendors from initiation to completion
• Participate in client meeting per client’s requirement

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES 

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and project fault.
• Level of communication within the organization and with the client.
• Continuous improvement in the following

• Client satisfaction
• Improvement and savings initiatives for the client as well as Jones Lang LaSalle

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 

• A professional qualification in engineering or facility hard service
• Good troubleshooting knowledge
• Over 5 year’s practical experience in facilities maintenance operation, preferably in a factory or commercial property industry.
• Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions
• Strong leadership, people and communication skills
