Aufgaben

Monitor Product, Price & Product Specification Development in the market
Evaluate product comparisons within market MFA2 related models product portfolio and with competitors (for the above mentioned products) ;
Continual market observation and analyzes;
Define and propose product measures and link them into the MBCL lifecycle and launch plan.



Launch/Life cycle management
Solely manage the launch of MFA2 related models, continuously develop the MFA2 related products by re-positionings, spec enhancements, special editions, vehicle-related features. Provide all product-related data/information and support to develop the brand in the market.



Data Management
Prepare documentation for set up of master data for the above mentioned products
Planning data submission in Impact
Pricing database update



Pricing
Prepare pricing proposals and necessary information for contribution calculation and business case evaluation from Spec Book to Market Launch (Pricing Team, Pricing Proposal, ad-hoc pricing committees). Initiate and conduct internal price/positioning discussions for life cycle projects after main launch.



Product Representative for China
Drive and align China product requests and requirements with HQ, RD, BBAC and Platform Management, as well as preparing feedback information to HQ and relevant parties. Present product information externally for journalists, key opinion leaders, dealers and customers



Product Committees
Prepare related topics for working platforms (PLS, IPC ) and management committees including PBC, MBCC, GPC and PG for decisions.

Research
Definition of research objectives for the above mentioned products
Analyzing of different research results from own research activities as well as
Preparation of information exchange.

Qualifikationen

Education
  • Economics/Commerce (Focus on international Marketing) /Management or technical university degree or mechanical engineering / education with supplementary professional experience in the other subject each; experience in the automotive industry



Experience
  • Min. 5 years working experience; international experience / working in an international company;



Special Knowledge
  • Fluent (spoken/written) English and Mandarin; very good MS office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP basic knowledge or end user experience is preferable; having international driving license pv, good analyzing and structuring skills as well as presentation skills. It requires a detailed minded, reliable personality who is able to think comprehensively, works in an accurate manner, coordinating and managing complex data. This requires teamwork ability, as co-ordination across departments/companies is necessary.
  • Profound knowledge and fascination about cars, strong knowledge of manufacturers, market trends and relevant trends (e.g. macroenconomics, society) in general.
  • Strong and mature personality, as well as great communication skills will be key assets for the job.
