DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To advise on the suitability and choice of pack construction, material and design and set packaging specifications.
  • The target is to present the best Packaging (external and internal) for each product, taking care of the cost, Global Packaging Standard (Material specifications, dimensions, packaging design, packaging layout), packing centres constrains (Manual, semi-automatic, automatic packing). This has to be done with all involved people (Packing Centres / Marketing / GSS / Global Packaging Team / Printing companies).
  • To look for innovations in packaging methods and styles.
  • To assist developing packing processes and methods.
  • To assist the Global Packaging Team to issue the Packing Manuals
  • To technically advise the Purchasing team in the selection of alternative suppliers.
  • To contribute to the safety, health and environment policies by taking of all instructions, keeping himself informed and always bearing in mind the respect of safety, health and environment rules or laws.




REQUIREMENTS:
  • A good feeling in packing processes
  • Rigour, accuracy
  • To be able to work on Macintosh with graphic softwares like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • To have a good knowledge in automotive
