Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
The Beijing-based government affairs and policy position will report to the Director, UPS China Public Affairs and key responsibilities includes:
Represent key positions directly and through industry associations/coalitions to the government in China to enable a friendly regulatory environment for the growth of UPS;
- Work collaboratively and transparently with the UPS business units to ensure alignment between core business priorities, public policy goals and strategic;
Facilitate high-level meetings between UPS executives and key stakeholders, incl. senior govt. officials, regulators, industry associations and alliance partners to promote and advocate the company's public policies.
'• University Degree
- 8-10 years work experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively including excellence in writing and public speaking;
- Experience working as Public Affairs professional with project management skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-pace, results oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong administrative skills e.g. planning, organizing, coordinating, following up on matters
- Proactive team player and with strong interpersonal and follow up skills
- Ability to gather information, analyze and synthesize for reporting purposes
- Firm believer of maintaining integrity and professionalism at all times
- Experience working in Government is preferable.
