RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, address and manage all the activities of the Operational Logistics Center to guarantee a reliable logistic service to different BL projects and sites requirement
• Responsible for shipping and customs affair, make sure import / export business smoothly and effectively.
• Provide high-level support services to productions located at ESCS
• Establish working procedure for operational logistics center
• Seek for process improvement continuously
• Identify and tap the full potentials in the logistics area, facilitate cost & lead time reduction
• Regular suppliers visit
• Cooperate with suppliers, shipping companies and shipping agent. Guarantee activities are fulfilled within time schedule
• Work closely with other departments to obtain smooth and efficient operations
• Cooperate with project lead buyers to set up and agree on time schedule for commodity purchase in China
• Track each case, communicate all interfaces that are involved. Guarantee all interfaces know the processing all the time
• Deal with emergency and unexpected cases. Find out solution at the earliest. Set up system to react quickly and appropriately
• Work closely with planning team to analyse and plan logistics resources.
• It’s critical important to obey government regulation and maintain good relationship with them.
• Provide training and experience sharing for the teammates
• Technical and disciplinary leading of the employees in Operational Logistics Centre @ EDSCS
• Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to the subordinates
• Generate statistics in order to managing the OLC
• Work on individual complaints of the whole area of responsibility
• Consult and support the business areas in logistics affairs

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in Chemical / logistics / foreign trade
• At least 8 years’ experience in logistics and 5 years in management position
• Significant experience in managing the areas of warehousing, transportation and customs as well as in developing logistics concepts
• Good reationship with government bodies and local authorities
• Encourage company cuture
• Excelent Communication / negotiation / leadership
• Soid priority setting and multi-tasking capabilities
• Extensive knowedge and experience in logistic management
• Strong panning skills
• Strong understanding of operationa aspects of the company
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Fuent in spoken and written English and Chinese language
• Bacheor Degree or above, major in Supply Chain Management is preferred
• At east 5 years related working experience in logistics field in some multinational company
• Strong communication skils
• Being wel organizing and initiative
• Being familiar with Chinese and European import / export regulations
