Description
This Corporate Facilities (CF) Services Delivery Lead role will primarily act within the Shanghai Dow Center (SDC) – the APAC regional headquarter and R&D center, accountable for the successful, sustainable and effective delivery of Facilities Services. The successful candidate will help support approximately 1,800 clients acting as the liaison between the internal clients at site and the global CF organization, while at the same time acting as a promoter and educator of all available community services. This role requires a deep knowledge of the capabilities of the broad suite of CF services to help enable business and/or function strategies. In operational terms, this means a lot of emphasis is put on relationship management with site leadership teams, internal partners and outsourcing partners to deliver the best possible solution available in a timely and cost-effective way.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management
- Enhance CF credibility by establishing and maintaining relationships at the site level. Develop and execute communication plans with key stakeholders at the sites assigned. Be a single point of contact for related issues and requests at a site leadership level.
- Provide consultancy and education on the use of existing CF services, office space optimization (new sites, layout changes, etc).
2. Vendor management by following global Integrated Facility Management (IFM) model
- Partner with our strategic outsourcing providers and/or building owners in the region to ensure effective delivery of CF services and solutions and achieve performance targets of facilities operations. Act as Contractor sponsor to the site.
- Recognize teams as appropriate.
- Be accountable for site security / coordination with EH&S. Lead, implement and enforce all Dow safety initiatives. Act as local site safety sponsor for our strategic outsourcing providers and ensure they are aware and comply with site safety and operating policies
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure safe, sustainable, enjoyable community services through digital solution
- Coordinate audit activities pertaining to site, be responsible for resolution of audit comments, maintain business continuity plan pertaining to assigned facilities.
- Review and approve all space planning requests within the site. Manage site office space to meet capacity utilization targets. Ensure accuracy of building and occupant data.
- Be familiar with Dow Management Systems and be approver of Management of Change requests, procedures and sign-off to Dow’s critical procedures for work activities.
- Be aligned in budget management directions. This includes managing operating expenses, cost savings targets, client satisfaction, overall budget performance and productivity goal
3. Project management/participation
- Initiate, determine and agree on scope and requirements for site specific projects requiring changes in Facilities and IT infrastructure.
- Act as Partner Project Manager (PPM) during the execution of site specific facility projects
- Lead site specific Facilities projects that require involvement of local suppliers and/or local departments.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of a Bachelors degree; preferably in, Engineering or Facilities related discipline.
2. Minimum of 5 years of Facilities experience
3. LEED, PMP or Six Sigma Certification is a plus
