WHO YOU ARE
• Bachelor degree in “industrial automation”, “electric automation” or “mechanical & electrical integration” is a plus (Purpose: will have a multi-competence with Maintenance Function in further)
- 3-5 years Safety/ Security management experience
- First Aid and Disaster response skills
- Fire system, security monitoring and alarm equipment experience
- Apprehension, interview and interrogation capabilities
- Possess understanding of local laws, fire codes, etc.
- Good at English
- Computer literacy

• Ensure compliance with IKEA Risk Management standards and all local safety & security laws / regulations on a consistent basis via a regular series of audits, follow-up, education, training and reports
- Lead the internal and external safety & security team to implement DCSJ safety & security routines, and to better support DCSJ operation business
- Initiate and monitor internal & external incidents/accidents and provide rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies
- Lead the team to coordinate all fire safety equipment and activities, organize fire drills as required
- Work with other functions to implement loss prevention routines
- Review Safety & Security budget and manage the security service contract annually
- Develop internal Safety and Security co-workers
- Develop, conduct and coordinate training of associates in the area of safety & security and occupational health.
- Evaluate, implement and maintain PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in place.
- Develop, plan and monitor all internal and external Fire and Security related systems
- Implement and coordinate the Safety & Health & IWAY Committee
- Coordinate insurance programs and handle claims
- Work closely with outside agencies (police, fire departments, fraud agencies, insurance companies, attorneys) as required
- Coordinate necessary safety reports, permits, communications and safety self-assessments etc.
- Implement other tasks assigned from Facility manager.
