The International Education Division is looking for a vibrant, dynamic and experienced high school geography teacher for IBDP and A-LEVEL

Responsibilities for Teaching Applicants:

Apart from your normal teaching duties, other responsibilities include:

spearheading or participating in co-curricula activities,
leading or participating in a school’s committee work,
managing various classes and enforcing discipline and cleanliness,
planning and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups,
conducting remedial lessons for weaker students,
complying with form teachers duties and evening class duties,
preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises,
marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written assignment,
preparing SOW, devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources,
organise or participate in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school activities, excursions, local and overseas education trips,
attending and contributing to training and sharing sessions,
participating in students recruitment for the school,
doing basic administration tasks such as preparing report books, class register and attendance records
ability to keep clear vision and high expectations focusing on students' achievement,
ability to advance the standards of students’ achievement,
constantly monitor and support all students' progress and be accountable for that progress,
ensure the provision of an appropriate, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying within the department.


Requirements for Teaching Applicants:

Candidates must have a recognized University degree(s) in geography
At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
Experienced or school appointment holders may be considered for similar or higher position.
