Summer Internship-Assistant Logistics Engineer

As a Summer Internship-Assistant Logistics Engineer, you will be part of the Electrification Business and Smart Power (BL) Business Line, based in Jiangmen. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products
Your responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse daily operation including RM receiving, feeding, outsourcing, FG packing & delivery within lead time, and ensure safety, efficiency and accuracy during the process.
- Implement FIFO in warehouse daily operation, and make sure all stock in warehouse are in good condition, and ensure the physical stock is consistent with the account.
- Conduct cycle count, analyze the root cause and take actions to improve if there is any stock discrepancy.
- Optimize warehouse operation procedures and implement new technologies & tools to make continuous improvement on safety, efficiency and accuracy.

Your background
- General knowledge of inventory management and lean manufacturing.
- Strong communication skill and interpersonal skill.
- Basic command of English writing and speaking.
- Logical thinking with attention to details.
- Good at data analysis and problem solving.
- Work independently and proactively, innovative, result oriented and strong at execution to meet target and deadline.
- Hard working and team-spirited, able to work under pressure.
