Job overview Co-op students will have the opportunity to gain real world working experience in the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing environment in either one or multiple departments during his/her work term(s). Duties and responsibilities Work with respective management to structure a main project for the term.
Perform daily/weekly tasks as instructed by your supervisor. 
Schedule and attend meetings with your supervisor and mentor(s) to gain feedback and discuss progress on the project and tasks assigned.
Conduct an end-of-term presentation and/or final presentation with your team including your respective E4, E3, and E2 (if final).
Complete any required trainings for the department including but not limited to Mercedes Production Systems (MPS). 
Act as an ambassador for the company by demonstrating integrity and maintaining corporate values with a positive and energetic attitude. Perform other duties as required.

  QUALIFICATIONS
(All qualifications must be met in order to qualify for the job) Minimum level of education
(Note: Engineering and/or IT MUST require technical degrees) Applicants must be able to work full-time at the plant in Tuscaloosa during their Co-op or internship work term(s). Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited university in a relevant field of study and in good standing. Engineering Business Operations Management/Supply Chain Finance or related area(Or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience) Professional Experience    Required skills
(These skills are essential to perform the job) Ability to effectively and efficiently operate a computer with such programs as MSWord, Excel, etc. Preferred skills
(These skills are not essential but useful) Dependent upon department or working area.
