Job Title: Middle School Science Teacher
Location: Dongguan, Guangdong, China

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Middle School Science Teacher to engage and challenge students in our rigorous bilingual program. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and inquiry-based science instruction, fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts and the natural world. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, conduct investigations, and develop a passion for scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, standards-based science lessons for middle school students.
Teach a curriculum that may encompass Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, or integrated sciences, encouraging hands-on experimentation and scientific reasoning.
Create a dynamic and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learners in a bilingual context.
Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative methods, providing timely feedback to promote academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues within the science department and across grade levels to enhance curriculum and student experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of related teaching experience in a bilingual or international school setting, specifically with middle school students.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
Excellent English pronunciation and clear, articulate instructional delivery.
A recognized teaching license (PGCE, QTS, State license, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Strong content knowledge and a passion for making science relevant and exciting for young adolescents.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: RMB 35,000 per month (including housing allowance).
Comprehensive benefits package standard for expatriate teachers.
