Location: Shenzhen, China
Start Date: August (Academic Year 2026–2027)
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated High School Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary school faculty in Shenzhen. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality mathematics instruction, foster logical thinking and problem-solving skills, and support students’ academic growth in preparation for university pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Teach High School Mathematics (Grades 9–12), curriculum may include IGCSE, A Level, AP, IB, or school-based programs
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Use a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learners
Assess, record, and report student progress using formative and summative assessments
Prepare students for internal and external examinations where applicable
Maintain an effective and well-managed learning environment
Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum development and assessment design
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Valid teaching certification/licensure (e.g. PGCE, QTS, U.S. teaching license, or equivalent)
Experience teaching high school mathematics
Familiarity with international curricula (IGCSE, A Level, AP, IB, etc.) is preferred
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Excellent communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency)
Experience in international or bilingual school settings is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching advanced mathematics courses
Ability to teach additional math-related subjects
Experience working with EAL/ESL students
