Job Title: A-Level Mathematics Teacher
Location: Songjiang District, Shanghai, China
Start Date: March 2026 & Fall 2026
School Type: Bilingual High School (A-Level & IBDP)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced A-Level Mathematics teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, a deep understanding of the A-Level curriculum (preferably Cambridge International or Edexcel), and the ability to inspire students through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction in A-Level Mathematics (including Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, and/or Statistics, as required), ensuring alignment with examination board standards.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse student body with varying proficiency levels.
Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, including preparation for external examinations.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and student participation.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across disciplines to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
Participate in school events, professional development sessions, and departmental meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in A-Level Mathematics or a comparable senior secondary curriculum.
Strong understanding of A-Level Mathematics syllabus, assessment objectives, and examination requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to an international and multicultural school environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching in an international or bilingual school setting.
Familiarity with educational technology and innovative tools for teaching mathematics.
Proficiency in English is essential for instruction and communication.
