About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic international school community in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator committed to inspiring students through a comprehensive and engaging music program. This role involves teaching across a range of age groups and abilities, fostering a love for music, and contributing to school performances and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Develop students’ musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation through a variety of pedagogical approaches.
Lead and support school music ensembles, concerts, and performances.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the curriculum and participate in school-wide events.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, teaching license, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
Proficiency in teaching instrumental and/or vocal music, with the ability to direct ensembles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach.
