Kindergarten TeacherLocation: Hangzhou, China
Start Date: Spring 2026
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our early years team in Hangzhou starting in Spring 2026. The successful candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports young children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and early years philosophy• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment• Support children’s language development, creativity, and social skills• Observe, assess, and document students’ progress and development• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ learning and well-being• Collaborate with Chinese co-teachers and the wider school team• Participate in school events, professional development, and meetings
Requirements
• Native English speaker preferred• Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education or a related field• Teaching qualification (PGCE, TEFL/TESOL, or equivalent) preferred• At least 2 years of experience teaching young learners• Passion for working with children and strong classroom management skills• Culturally open-minded and able to work in a multicultural environment
