Job Description

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Part-time Early Years Teacher to join our Early Years team in Chongqing. The successful candidate will support young learners’ development through play-based, child-centred learning and create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating classroom environment.

This is a half-day position from Monday to Friday and is ideal for candidates seeking a balanced workload. An attractive benefit is offered for teachers with children, as eligible dependents may enrol at the school free of charge.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for children aged 2–6

Create a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment

Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

Plan and implement play-based and inquiry-led learning experiences

Observe, assess and record children’s progress

Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Contribute to school events and early years activities where required

Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Education or a related field

Teaching qualification or Early Years certification (e.g. PGCE, TEFL/TESOL with EY experience, or equivalent) preferred

Experience working with young children in a kindergarten or early years setting

Passion for early childhood education and child development

Patient, caring and responsible personality

Good communication and teamwork skills

Salary: RMB 11,000 per month

Housing Allowance: RMB 2,000 per month
