Primary School Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities
Teach Music to primary school students (ages 6–11) in line with the school’s international curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons covering singing, rhythm, basic theory, instrumental skills, and performance.
Organise and support school concerts, performances, assemblies, and other arts-related events.
Foster students’ creativity, confidence, and appreciation of music.
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Performing Arts department.
Assess and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements
PGCE, QTS, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience (international school experience preferred).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for music education and working with young learners.
Ability to contribute to extracurricular music activities (choir, ensemble, school productions, etc.).
Native or near-native English proficiency.
