Job Description
We are expanding and we are looking for a driven and experienced Marine Industry Key Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving new business development across Southeast Asia and/or China. As part of our sales function, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and building long-term partnerships within the marine industry.
What you'll be doing:
▪️Prospect and Develop New Customers: Identify and develop new customer accounts within the assigned markets.
▪️Sales Techniques: Utilize cold calling, customer mapping, territory planning, and opportunity qualification to drive sales.
▪️Value Selling: Upsell and propose improvements to current lubricant lifting practices for fleets.
▪️Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and ensure retention.
▪️Sales Growth: Achieve volume targets set by the management team and manage customer debt in collaboration with the finance department.
▪️Collaboration: Work closely with operations and supply teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across various territories and time zones.
▪️Focus on ROI: Optimize time and energy to provide value to both customers and shareholders.
▪️Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor sales performance and figures daily.
▪️Effective Communication: Leverage strong communication skills to work with diverse groups of people across different cultures and backgrounds.
What we're looking for:
▪️At least of 2 years in Marine Lubricants Sales experience is mandatory.
▪️Strong value selling and negotiation skills.
▪️Ability to work independently and within a team.
▪️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients.
▪️Fluency in English and at least one other regional language is an advantage.
▪️A driven, self-motivated mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
