Job description
1.Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized group instruction to adapt to the needs of the particular group of students.

2.Plan and deliver rigorous, student-centered lessons that uses English as the primary language and utilizes a broad range of research-based teaching techniques, strategies and learning modes focusing on students learning by doing.

3.Monitor and evaluate the academic growth of students and record the results on the school’s system, and provide timely formative feedback to students, writing and submitting reports on student performance as required.

4.Collaborate with your department head and other peer teachers to accomplish any forms of tasks and identify and solve problems of practice.

5.Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of classroom, e.g., CCA, student clubs and school events.

6.Continue growing as an educator, staying apprised of best practice in your subject, pursuing professional development opportunities.

7.Perform any other duties as assigned by the school.

Requirements
1.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., English, Education etc. Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a teaching certificate will be a plus.

2.At least 3-5 years of English teaching experience for ESL/EFL students; High school experience of international curricula (IB/Alevel/AP) in China is preferred.

3.Ability to scaffold students with various English difficulties, and be able to teach across different English streams.

4.Native English Speaker with a strong sense of team spirit, highly collaborative in the team, particularly with co-teachers regarding designing curriculum and delivering lessons.

5.Proactive and positive work attitude, flexible and ability to work under pressure.

6.Proven problem-solving capacity, and good time management skills.

7.Proficient computer skills.
