Job Title
Industrial Designer (Civilian Equipment Product)
Job Responsibilities
1. Take charge of the full-lifecycle industrial design integration of civilian-grade products, including delivering equipment appearance models, designing simple operation panel layouts, and formulating design solutions for civilian safety protection structures.
2. Collaborate with the structural team to verify the manufacturability of designs for simple sheet metal and injection molding processes, and optimize human-machine interaction experience, including the design of large operation buttons, high-definition display screens, anti-misoperation emergency stop buttons, and portable handles.
3. Balance aesthetic design and functional requirements of civilian equipment, such as integrating heat dissipation holes with basic dustproof protection, and coordinating workbench load-bearing performance with operational convenience. Ensure consistent appearance in mass production, as well as excellent durability and storage convenience of products for household and small studio application scenarios.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Industrial Design, with more than 3 years of working experience in civilian equipment product design.
2. Proficient in design software including SolidWorks, Rhino and KeyShot. Familiar with the properties of commonly used materials for civilian equipment and mainstream processing technologies, including basic CNC machining, injection molding and sheet metal processing.
3. Possess professional civilian-grade human-machine interaction design thinking, capable of insight into the demands of non-professional end-users, including intuitive operation procedures, lightweight product design, and easy-to-clean surface design.
4. Candidates with successful mass-production design cases of civilian laser equipment or consumer-grade industrial products, and capable of coordinating with the supply chain to optimize surface processes (such as surface powder coating and basic rust prevention treatment) are preferred.
