High School English Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated High School English Teacher to join an academically rigorous international school in Huizhou.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English to high school students
Plan and deliver rigorous, engaging, and student-centered English lessons
Develop students’ critical reading, analytical writing, communication, and literary skills
Design and implement appropriate assessments and learning activities
Monitor student progress and provide individualized academic feedback
Support students in developing strong academic English skills
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student development
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field
Native English speaker
At least 2 years of relevant high school English teaching experience
Experience teaching an international curriculum is highly preferred
Experience with AP, A-Level, IB, or other rigorous international curricula is an advantage
Formal teaching qualification/certificate preferred
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about academic excellence and student development
