Job Description
We are seeking a Macroeconomic Research Analyst who is highly adept at analyzing policy shifts and government regulations to uncover investment opportunities in emerging sectors. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in public sector roles (government
agencies, regulatory bodies, or international organizations) and the ability to quickly identify
opportunities triggered by changes in legislation, executive orders, and policy reforms. The ideal candidate will be highly sensitive to shifts in government policy, able to capture these changes' impact on markets, and translate government language into actionable investment language.
Key Responsibilities:
•Policy Sensitivity and Opportunity Mapping: Be highly sensitive to policy changes, such as new legislation, executive orders, and regulatory adjustments, and identify how these
changes impact specific sectors. Pinpoint small but potentially lucrative opportunities arising
from these shifts.
•Translating Policy to Market Language: Utilize your deep understanding of policy language to transform government regulations and policy documents into marketable insights for investment strategies.
•Public Sector Expertise: Leverage experience in public sector roles to understand the
implications of government actions, fiscal policies, and trade regulations, and how these
policies can drive growth in industries like rare earths, unmanned systems, and other
emerging technologies.
•Investment Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with the investment team to integrate
policy-driven insights into actionable strategies. Provide input into portfolio construction
based on new policy developments and regulatory changes.
•Policy Briefings and Reports: Prepare high-level, concise reports and presentations that
translate complex policy documents into clear, actionable insights for the investment team.
•Global Policy Monitoring: Continuously monitor changes in global and regional pol
agencies, regulatory bodies, or international organizations) and the ability to quickly identify
