Responsibilities:
Performs assessment, planning and implementation of substance abuse counseling and education services for an assigned area.
Provides assigned patient counseling case management and provide group and individual counseling.
Systematically and continually assesses the patient's relapse prevention techniques in collaboration with the patient and family.
Documents visits and interventions appropriately according to the standards of the healthcare organization.
Identifies appropriate community resources for follow-up care and refers as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:
Maine state licensure as an Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor required.
Experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
Experience with group work preferred.
