About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School English Literature Teacher to join our team at a British-style K–12 international school in Hangzhou. Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Literature lessons to high school students.

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to support academic growth.

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and school initiatives.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements

Native-level English speaker.

Bachelor's degree or above in English, Literature, Education, or a related field preferred.

Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred.

Proven experience teaching English Literature at the high school level.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
