Job Summary:
The candidate will be a core staff member of research and development team at Innovation center to develop the products and solutions of water treatment. He/she will possess mechanical engineering design and architect expertise that allow him/here to model, design and implement the meaningful innovations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and implement the platform creation including design of system, subsystems and interfaces of products and solutions. Conduct Feasibility study and create on the proposed design in the mechanical architecture.
Lead innovations, across projects, to create, implement and test the mechanical designs, conform to the product quality and project requirements.
Approve the design review to make sure the design is robust and reliable, and all the deliverables should be completed as required.
As a mechanical architecture capability and knowhow owner, facilitate the improvement and build up the discipline to ensure the group to achieve high level of mechanical technical competence.
Benchmark the design methodology/tool//material/technology, especially for test platforms and kitchen devices.
Contribute to building up a learning culture to learn the stat-of-art technologies and strengthen the knowledge base of R&D team.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years mechanical design and related experience.
Qualifications
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly.
Broad technical knowledge and experience with bringing products and solutions to the market.
Solid experience in mechanical engineering including architecture design, plastic, metal, valve, pump, sealing and heating.
Strong knowledge in plastics and injection molding.
Proficient with using Pro/Engineer mechanical CAD/CAE system.
Knowledge in safety standard and regulatory compliance
Strong customer focus, experience in translating customer needs into technical requirements and then clearly defining the technical specification.
Experience in coaching of designers or design teams.
Good team player and open-minded.
Relevant experience in water treatment industry is a plus.
DFSS skill is a plus.
Good command of oral and written English.
