Job Summary

We are seeking a Director or above of Antibody Discovery & Engineering. Primary responsibilities will be to setup and implement immunization strategies; generate and screen hybridomas; Setup strategies for the humanization of murine antibodies, for the affinity maturation of antibody candidates, as well as for the optimization of antibody biophysical properties/develop abilities.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Setup and implement immunization strategies and generate, evaluate and screen hybridomas;

• Engineering antibodies to maximize their therapeutic potential;

• Working collaboratively with biologist to obtain a working knowledge of various therapeutic targets and participate in structural decisions to facilitate therapeutic antibody generation (humanization, Fc receptor engineering using mutation or altered glycosylation, hypermutation strategies to optimize PK or target binding);

• Working closely with biologists to further optimize lead antibody characteristics (Fc-mediated effector function, PK) using data generated from appropriate cell-based assays and preclinical animal models;

• Lead the effort of discovering other novel structural antibodies including bi-specific/multi-specific antibodies and single domain antibodies;

Position Requirements:

• PhD in Structure biology, Molecular Biology, Protein/Antibody Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry working experience with a track record of scientific accomplishments as evidenced by related publications, patents or pipeline contributions;

• MUST have prior hands-on experience in developing monoclonal antibody therapeutics using hybridoma platform, and in humanization & Fc engineering;

• Have track record of leading biologics discovery projects to pre-clinical stage;

• In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and methods for design and optimization of antibody-based therapeutics;

• Knowledge of B-cell cloning and sequencing, phage display is a definite plus;

• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.

岗位要求：

• 具有结构生物学，分子生物学或其它蛋白/抗体工程改造方面相关专业博士学历，及5年以上抗体研发相关领域工作经验；

• 精通单克隆抗体药物研发上游的相关原理与技术，有将抗体药物推进到临床前阶段的实际开发经验；

• 有杂交瘤技术、抗体库筛选、抗体亲和力成熟、人源化等相关工作的实际操作经验；

• 具备较宽广深入的蛋白生物化学和分子生物学相关知识；

• 具备海外或大型制药企业相关工作经验优先；

• 具备独立分析问题和解决问题的能力，具备团队合作精神，良好的组织协调能力和沟通能力，能适应较大的工作压力。
