一、專長領域：以歐洲為焦點之文化觀光或人文藝術領域，可擴展本所現有師資專長者為佳。

二、名額：助理教授（含）以上專任教師、專案助理教授各1名。

三、申請資格：

(一) 除106年5月後畢業且未有專科以上學校專任教師年資之初任教師外，需符合下列條件之一：

1. 105年5月後有正式出版之專書。

2. 105年5月後發表二篇SCI、SSCI、A&HCI、EI、TSSCI、民國一百零五年新制THCI (原THCI Core)等級之期刊論文，且為第一作者或通訊作者。

3. 105年5月後主持二個科技部研究計畫。前述期刊論文及科技部研究計畫，得相互折抵。

(二) 應有教授法語或西語課程，及全英語授課之能力。

(三) 申請專任教師，最高學歷若為本校授與者，應具有與任教科目性質相近之研究工作、 專門職業或職務資歷二年以上。

The Graduate Institute of European Cultures and Tourism (GIECT) in the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) invites applications for two faculty positions, one for a full-time assistant professor or above, and one for a contract assistant professor. Applicants should specialize in either cultural tourism or an Arts/Humanities discipline at large, with a focus on Europe. Candidates who can complement or expand existing faculty expertise are preferred.

I. Position description

The appointees will be responsible for teaching courses (in Chinese or English) in GIECT’s curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (no less than 6 hours/week). They will also be required to direct theses, serve on various university and department committees, and engage in other administrative work. The position will start on February 1st, 2020, pending approval by NTNU’s president. Faculty rank and salary are commensurate with the candidates’ qualifications. Initial salaries range approximately from 955,000 NTD per annum (ca. 31,800 USD; subject to exchange rates) for assistant professors to 1,350,000 NTD per annum (ca. 45,000 USD; subject to exchange rates) for full professors. Other benefits include family health insurance, research grants and awards (on a competitive basis).

II. Basic qualifications

1. Except for candidates who graduated after May 2017 and have not previously held a full-time position in a university, applicants must fulfill one of the following requirements:

(1) Publication of at least one book or monograph after May 2016;

(2) Publication of at least two articles after May 2016 in journals listed in the Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Taiwan Social Sciences Citation Index, or Taiwan Humanities Citation Index, where the applicant is the first author or the corresponding author;

(3) Holding two projects from Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology after May 2016.

2. The candidates should be capable of offering language courses in French or Spanish.

3. The candidates applying for the full-time position should have minimum two-year teaching, research, or work experience in related fields if their PhD degree was awarded by NTNU.

Ⅲ. Application procedure
