Tips:

? Know your IP networking. You don't need to be a CCIE, but you should be able to explain port forwarding and know the difference between a public and private IP.

? General Digital Video knowledge is a plus (What is h.264)

? General Cellular Technology knowledge is a plus (What is CDMA/GSM/LTE/HSPA)

Position Type: Full Time Employee

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Since 2005, we have become a trusted technology partner for hundreds of the leading broadcasters around the globe because of our ability to deliver a wide ecosystem of solutions for transmitting professional-quality High Definition video. This IP-based mobile equipment allows professional broadcasters to transmit a live HDTV signal over 4G/3G cellular networks, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.


We are seeking a talented Support Engineer to work in our Shanghai Support Center.


Responsibilities:

? Provide technical support to TVU customers/resellers via phone, email and other electronic medium

? Configure client's equipment to connect to the Internet via cellular modems, Wi-Fi and Ethernet

? Troubleshoot software and hardware issues as needed

? Provide customer training on equipment use and best practices

? Collect the valuable feedback from customers/resellers and bring them to develop team.


In this role, you will:

Closely work with our fantastic support team in US

Have the chance of global trip for providing on-site support in big events .

Have the chance to go to our HQ in Silicon Valley or other branches for technical communication.

Have the chance to attend the largest trade show in TV industry.


Qualifications:

? Hands-on experience with PCs, servers, and networking equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.) is a must; applicant must be familiar with IP configuration, firewalls, NATs, and VPNs.

? One year's experience in Technical Support for a high-tech product, ideally in networking.

? Linux and Windows proficiency is desirable.

? Excellent communicator both written and verbal; good listener.

? Outgoing, enthusiastic personality who brings a sense of fun to work.

? Customer-centric attitude.

? Highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

? Fast learner who's not afraid to try new things.

? Open-minded and flexible, analytical problem-solver.

? Video hobbyist experience, or experience in the TV industry, is a plus.
