Position Objective:

• Automation engineering support for PASS system automation concept
• Provision of systems engineering competence within the automation & electrical area
• Advise customers on automation potential in manufacturing and assembly systems in the electronics industry. · Safeguarding and continuous improvement of the automation know how in electronic industry
• Support of the engineering team during FAT and SAT for instrumentation and electrical related activities including documentation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Support PM/PE teams by conducting automation proposal based on customer’s requirements (URS). (25%) · Actively initiate continued improved automation system to meet the requirement of system stable, safe and high-efficiency running. (20%)
• Technical support of different engineering disciplines in project upgrade and have right competence in external vendors, minor projects management and validation process. (10%) ·
• Maintenance automation & electrical documentation following up to meet GMP & GAMP requirements. (10%) · Support wiring / instrument air tubing and the installation of junction boxes, including installation of cable ducts and related work required on frame and support construction. (10%) ·
• Support during FAT activities in case related to automation & electrical installation. (20%)
• Supervision of equipment installation at customer sites and support of SAT activities related to automation & electrical installation. (5%)

• Knowledge & Key Skills:
• Skilled application of PLC design especial for Siemens & Emerson Delta V and Siemens & Danfoss frequency also more practice.
• Test bench automation & electrical design, improvement and commissioning, also installation on site
• Skilled of application of electrical components type selection.
• Cost estimation of automation concept
• Cost evaluation base on the concept designed.
• Responsible for supporting system problem solving from automation & electrical side.
• Design new tools or method to increase work efficiency.
• Coordinate with PM/PE, engineering support team & sub-suppliers/partners to implement lean production. · Responsible for concept for application modules as well as automation solution concepts.
• Acquisition and coordination of systems partners for the realization of automation systems and as support for the global PASS strategy.
• Open minded and flexible in looking for new technologies and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to work together with the engineering support team and sub-suppliers/partners in order to meet customers’ expectations.
• Ability and willingness to work with an interdisciplinary team including sub-suppliers/partners, customers’ representatives and international Pall colleagues.
• Ability to communicate effectively into the engineering support team, identifying duties and responsibilities and proposing best suitable solutions

Essential Qualifications & Education:

• University degree in automation or electrical engineering. ·
• Knowledge about GMP and GAMP rules in pharma/biotech industry.
• Electrician license. Essential Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC design and electrical design.
• Experience in the preferably pharma/biotech industry or alternatively in the food/beverage/cosmetics industry. · With strong team work consciousness and good cooperation, open mind and strong implementation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work with dynamic changes and pressure.

• Detailed knowledge and understanding of design criteria for automation & electrical in biopharmaceutical systems.
• Support teamwork within the interdisciplinary group and in relation to project managers and process/project engineers. ·
• Travelling to customer sites is for the position.
