Job Description
- Source and screen investment deal candidates; conduct business and financial analysis on target industry segment and companies
- Lead and facilitate financial, technology and business due diligence for target candidates
- Prepare internal review and approval documents
- Drive investment negotiation, closing, and related events
- Track financial and business performance of invested companies and prepare written update
- Facilitate the implementation and development of business cooperation between Baidu and invested companies
- Develop internal and external connections to develop deal pipeline
- Conduct corporate strategy research upon need
- Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by manager
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical skill
- In depth understanding of internet and mobile business
- BS or BA degrees from top universities; MBA or PhD preferred
- 5+ years in investment, consulting, investment bank, corporate venture, or strategy development
- A self-starter, personable, articulate is preferred
