Job Description

Responsibilities:
? Install instrumentation, train customers and ensure a smooth and rapid start-up for CDC and part of clinical customers.
? Provide technical direction and support to customers on instrument operation, assay development, and maintenance of company products.
? Perform and/or assist in the evaluation and validation of assays.
? Answer technical inquiries from customer such as test result interpretation.
? Implement detailed customer start-up requirements related to both Cepheid products and customer-specific requirements.
? Work closely with sales, clinical solutions, marketing, technical support and field service to address customer concerns, determine corrective action, implementation of on-site troubleshooting and customer follow-up.
? Provide application support to other internal departments such as Regulatory Affair.
? Other responsibilities as required such as technical inquiry/complaint handling through ***** call, simple spare parts replacement etc.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor Degree or above in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Medical laboratory or appropriate Science/Medical discipline
? More than 3 years' work experiences in molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and/or medical technical support
? Laboratory focus along with experience in molecular and microbiology techniques
? Results driven and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability achieve measurable goals
? Excellent technical presentation skills for group and one-on-one presentations
? Good verbal and written skills in both Mandarin and English
? Accept high frequency of travel
