Job Description:

We are an award-winning design company established in London UK now with divisions in Barcelona Spain and Dubai UAE, we focus on creative experiences from initial concept to completion (Masterplanning / Concept / Schematic / Detail / Art Direction) for the leisure & entertainment industry including, theme parks & resorts, FECs and attractions across the globe. We manage a vast project portfolio and have the pleasure of working with some of the most renowned and recognised brands and IP’s that include Merlin Entertainments, Disney & LEGO.

It is time to grow, so we are searching for an exceptional experienced Business Development Manager to lead and develop the Scruffy Dog Creatives Portfolio in Asia.

Responsibilities:

> Identify new business opportunities for Scruffy Dog Creative Ltd;

> Seek out appropriate contacts (operators/investment/real estate companies) within the Attractions industry to grow Scruffy Dog Creative Ltd's portfolio;

> Generate leads and cold call prospective customers;

> Liaise with customers and clients either face-to-face or over the phone;

> Input all client contact details, notes and files on the CRM System and develop a sales pipeline which is essential to this agreement;

> Understand the needs of the customers and be able to respond efficiently and effectively with a plan on how to meet these needs;

> Have a strong understanding of the Scruffy Dog Creative Ltd's services and be able to advise others on such services to a high standard;

> Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department;

> Liaise with the design and estimator departments as required and appropriate;

> Attend seminars, conferences and events when appropriate or where business opportunities may realistically present themselves;

> Keep up-to-date with trends and changes in the industry;

> Translate from English to Chinese (Mandarin).

Skills, Qualifications & Personal Qualities:

• More than 3-5 years of experience on speaking to real estate developers or Party A Business Development manager working experience;

3-5年以上房地产开发或甲方业务开发经理工作经验

• Familiar with the regional real estate market, rich real estate development channels and related resources are preferred;

熟悉中国房地产市场，有丰富的地产开发渠道及相关资源者优先

• Excellent developer resources, business communication and business negotiation skills are preferred

• Design / Architecture/masterplanning/entertainment and/or theme park background preferred

• Experience in large design institutes or overseas design companies is preferred

• Team player that can work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills and creative ability

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree preferred

• Fluent English speaker

• Must come with previous experience in the industry

The job holder will report administratively to CBBC’s office managers in Shanghai, and functionally will report to and be supported by Scruffy Dog Creative Ltd.
