Location: Fengxian, Shanghai

The Challenge:

• To act as plant performance engineer. Be responsible for the continuous improvement in the plant (Quality, SHE, OEE). To manage and execute an effective improve plant process in the plant.

• Act as plant technologist to work with R&D to introduce the new products and make sure the proper technology transfer from R&D to the production staff.

• 咸式风味调料的生产必须执行很多的标准，例如：ISO、HACCP、FSC22000,DFS Food GMP、Kosher、Halal 相关的法规及客户的特殊要求. Many standards have to be maintained and adhered such as ISO, HACCP, FSC22000, DFS Food GMP, Kosher, Halal regulatory and individual customers.

• Keep the balance within production, quality and SHE to meet the Faster Focused Growth requirements and more flexibility.

The Position:

SHE Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the safe production in good order without any incidents/accidents. Ensure all operations, incident/accident report, management of change, etc. to DSM requirements as well as to the state standards.

• To participate the weekly SHE inspection of the department as well as the equipment within the responsible area.

• Timely report and motivate subordinates to timely report any accident/incident/near miss.

• Lead the team actively attending SHE training and conduct SHE training for new employees, transferred employees or employees back to duty after long-time absence.

• Be responsible for JSA and implementation of work permit system to ensure the work safety of our employees and contractors.

• Check hand-over records, operation records and supervise the PPE wearing of the staff.

Security Responsibilities

• Organizing implementation and propose for improvement.

• Training to employee.

• Organizing implementation operation controls.

• Regularly area check and actions follow up.

• Propose continuous improvement actions.

To act as project manager to manage the (GMP) improvements in PFX, to solve the operational issues by working with people on site as well as the people from BG/BU level.

• Be responsible for the RCI for the quality contamination cases by working with QA/QC, production and maintenance staff in the plant.

• Be responsible for the (GMP) improvement projects in the plant. To improve the standards by improving the manufacturing process, design of equipment & tools as well as people awareness in the plant.

• To follow the site/plant IP&MOC process by coordinating with plant/site gatekeeper.

• To align with BG/BU experts on the implementation of the RCI as well as the GMP improvement project.

To act as technology and improvement engineer within the plant to manage and execute an effective improve plant process in the plant.

• Be responsible for the plant to comply with all relevant local/National legislation and DSM corporate requirements by working with site quality, SHE and IP department.

• Be responsible for the continuous improvement in the plant, to analyze the plant performance, collecting and investigating improvement opportunities.

• Defining the hurdle and ranking criteria used in the improve plant work process.

• Assessing the improvement opportunities on added value, ranking and prioritizing opportunities and managing the improvement list.

• Managing and developing solutions for improvement opportunities.

• Specify scope of solution and send solution to appropriate process for implementation.

• Be responsible for the optimization of manufex process in the plant.

• Organize the management of change evaluation and related actions follow up in the plant

Be responsible for the Lean and 6 Sigma activities in the plant.

Be responsible for the new product introduction and make sure proper technology transfer from R&D to production staff.

Assist Plant manager on other production business and small projects

The Ideal:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, preferably in microbiology.

• Minimum of 10 years working experience with minimum 5 years in a food manufacturing environment, quality related experience is preferred.

• Detailed knowledge of food production processes

• Good knowledge of food microbiology.

• Good experience in Improve Plant process/project is a plus.

• Experience in food powder handling is a plus.

• Good English read, write and oral communication skill

• Good PC skill
