Job Summary 职位概述:

The Engineer in this position will be responsible for providing technical design expertise to the new product development and launch function. He will also be responsible for product design engineering and/or analysis support of certain product series in development/production phase.

Key Responsibilities 主要职责:

1. Create, maintain and analyze product design using Altium Designer.

2. Provide design and development expertise from new concept idea to production implementation, including but not limited to schematic capture, circuit simulation, WCCA, board prototyping, work with PCB Engineer to finish the PCB layout, generating Gerber, design for manufacturability and board testing.

3. Support selection and specification of electrical and electronics components.

4. Conduct, coordinate and track electrical/electronic hardware failure analysis, root cause investigation and corrective implementation.

5. Perform technical design review within the organization and with customers at concept, design validation and production sign-off stages.

6. Manage electronics related technical documentation.

Job Requirements 职位要求:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.

2. 8+ years of working experience of embedded system electronic/electrical components selection, electrical power system development, circuit design, analysis and simulation, motion control, systems design in the automotive or related industry, the experience of embedded system software development will be preferred.

3. Fluent oral and written English.

4. Significant knowledge of automotive electronics printed circuit board manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing activities.

5. In-depth understanding of BLDC motor commutation and control theory.

6. In-depth understanding of basic DC/DC power converter(s) physics and applications, the experience of AC/DC power supply development will be plus.

7. In-depth understanding of power electronic components physics, simulation models and applications, including TVS, Zener diodes, Schottky diodes, BJTs, power MOSFETs.

8. In-depth understanding of Product EMC knowledge and in lab EMC experience.

9. Good understanding of PCA/PCB manufacturing process and design for manufacturability.

10. Proficient in one of the following simulation software: PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB Simulink or equivalent software.

11. Proficient in product schematic capture/PCB layout design with EDA software (preferably Altium Designer).

12. Proficient in embedded C coding on 16-bit controller or assembly coding preferably with Microchip’s dsPIC family will be plus.

13. Hands-on experience in vehicle communication system including but not limited to CAN, LIN, SPI, both applications and implementation on the embedded software level will be plus.
