Job Description
Strategic Account Manager (Softline):
Responsibilities:
- Manages and coordinates a regional relationship with UL’s larger customers over all related industries;
- Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues;
- Works with Business Unit leadership or Global Account Managers in the development of global or regional account strategies, goals, and plans;
- Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth, expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of key customers;
- May provide work direction to other employees in charge of specific customer accounts.
Requirements:
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) in a related discipline plus generally eight years of directly related experience;
- Extensive knowledge of company policies and sales processes;
- Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers. Expert on sales strategies and tactics;
- Good English proficiency;
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office is required.
Sales Manager (Softline):
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Consumer Softlines business, lead the local sales team finding and explore potential new clients and working to turn these leads into customers;
- Develops and motivates sales professionals by coaching and transferring the knowledge of sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results;
- Leads client engagement by developing and managing relationships at the middle management and key decision maker levels for large and medium customers;
- Manages sales transaction pipelines and forecasting;
- Stays up to date with and understands latest market developments and trends;
- Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least seven years of related experience in product testing industry, preferably with experience in supervising a team;
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent customers relationship management skills;
- Good English proficiency;
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office is required.
