【Responsibilities】

• Firmware development for gaming and lifestyle audio products (USB Gaming Headsets, Wireless Gaming Headsets, Bluetooth Headsets, Speakers, and Soundbar, etc.)
• Work with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Development, Marketing team to execute the plan driven by the Program Manager and get the product out on time.
• Work closely with internal Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve highly complex or specialized issues.
• Effectively manage and communicate with suppliers and ODMs for firmware release and production validation
• Travel internationally (mainly Singapore and China) on demand

• BS or related degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in headset or consumer audio industries
• Proficient in the use of the C language.
• Working experience with one of followings is required:

• Firmware development for audio products.
• Audio codec driver development.

• Working experience with followings is plus:

• USB audio is big plus.
• Audio/voice signal processing algorithm (E.g. echo cancelation, noise suppression, beamforming, adaptive filter processing, …)
• Acoustic fundamentals (ITU-T, 3GPP, …)
• Acoustic/audio measurement methods and instrument
• Wireless communication (Bluetooth, 2.4G, …)

• An ability and willingness to juggle multiple assignments, adapt to fast-changing circumstances, and do what it takes to get the job done
• Collaborate and communicate with geographically distributed engineers
• Interface with factory engineers
• Quickly learn new solutions and technology for various audio products.

• A passion for gaming audio
• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Audio Engineering or similar.
• 6 years of experience in audio or acoustic design
• 6 years of experience in embedded firmware development (DSP or MCU)
• Experience of DSP and audio codecs (Conexant, C-Media, ADI, TI, NXP, Cirrus Logic, CSR, …)
• Knowledge of serial control interface (e.g. I2C, SPI, …) and audio interface (I2S, PCM, …)
