DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

The Account Manager will be responsible for key account management and communication to build last relationships and ensure customer intimacy. Project management including product development, sourcing for the new product line craft. Key activities will include but not limited to Account Management, Project management, Sourcing and driving the process and value-chain improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and management to relay communication and translate information to ensure common understanding and customer intimacy
  • Daily communication with customers and suppliers for product development, quotes to ensure project is completed smoothly
  • Receiving RFQ from customers, scanning information and looking for appropriate factories for costing and sampling
  • Supporting development team to do sample review report and arrange delivery
  • Review pre-production samples and prepare product files for production records
  • Monitor vendor production status, Acknowledge problems and immediately work with all concerned parties for solution
  • Work with factories and Lab offices for sample submission, testing process to meet customer request
  • Work closely with QC team and get involve in quality issues if any to ensure products are shipped on time with right specification
  • Sourcing factories and doing evaluation according to customers’ needs.
  • Risk management- Back up for existing vendors and development of new vendors according future market trends
  • Work closely with shipping team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery
  • Leading supplier management and development to high performance and competitiveness achieve
  • Leading continuous improvement initials on product improvement and costing improvement


Your Profile:

We expect you to have following background, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities

  • 5 years working experience on client relationship management, client servicing and consultative sales.
  • Familiar experience on art and craft products, e.g. paint, paint tools, dough &clay, stamp, paper stuff, glue, merchandising, sourcing, product development etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of market analysis, products sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management ‘should-cost’ models, and multi-year negotiation strategies, supplier continuous improvement programs/Lean Initiatives
  • Knowledge on competitors, industry benchmarking, be sensitive to the market
  • Supplier and products database management skills
  • Cost analysis skills, drive cost reduction, product quality and service improvements to enhance supplier value
  • Strong planning, organizing and communication skills
  • Service mind-set, customer-focus approach, High standards of customer intimacy, Anticipation
  • Partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Risk manage, Prepared for market changes and growth opportunities
  • Results-oriented, Pro-active attitude, learning oriented
  • Be flexible to adapt to the client changes, market changes
  • Continuous improvement
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
