Job Description

Responsibilities

1.Pre-Season Merchandise Planning

  • To develop buy plan (OTB) per store cluster, according to buying strategy, top down financial target. According to the company sales target and the historical sales of retail, assist Buying & Merchandising Manager to make the OTB for each season;

  • Combine product planning needs and fashion trends to complete brand positioning, style planning and product development;

  • Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for pre-season buying structures at cluster level;

  • Based on existing analysis model to provide detailed analysis on the article level to identify key drivers for top selling articles, as well as slow moving articles;

  • Develop store cluster proposal and distribution plan;

  • Monitor buying quantity vs. budget; reconcile buy plan to merchandise plan;
    Partner with logistics and customer service team to track order placement and shipment control;

2.In-Season Merchandising Execution

  • Lead in the process to provide ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis e.g. sell out, stock level, MD, etc.

  • Provide in season performance tracking reports

  • Provide analysis to develop mark down strategy and support markdown and clearance process
    Maintain & Monitor compliance of pre-season buy and AP policy, as well as planning calendar

3.Post-Season Review

  • Provide analysis and documentation for post-season review

  • Provide seasonal deep dive analysis for customers

  • Partner with Retail Operations, VM, Retail Marketing, and Logistics teams to develop action steps for next season

4.Marketing Visit and Research

  • Regular store visit to see the results of actions;

  • Communication with retail sales to get the product feedback;

  • Regular or random market visit to gain broader commercial knowledge

5.Training
Participate in Products seasonal presentation and technology training as well
as merchandising training


Profile

  • >5 years of relevant experience in the fashion retail, RTW is a must

  • Experience gained in multi-national companies is highly preferred

  • Product sensibility and knowledge of high fashion is your strengths

  • Can work under high pressure and good time management skill

  • Strong communication skills, open minded

  • Quick adaptor to a fast growing company

  • Professional written and verbal communication skill in both Chinese and English languages

  • Open to travel
