Post Specification:

The applicant should have

(i) a Bachelor degree, preferably a higher degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Finance/Business Analytics or other related areas,earned overseas or with English as the major teaching language;

(ii) Excellent in Linear Algebra, Calculus and Statistics, proficient in matlab and python;

(iii) Good teaching and communication skills,

(iv) Fluency in both written and spoken English;

(v) Good physical and mental health;

(vi) Spirit of team work, as well as ability of working independently when required;

(vii) be willing to take up other responsibilities as instructed by the supervisor(s).

Duties include:

(a) Assisting course instructor to carry out teaching in the area of Mathematics, Programming, Finance or other Science/Engineering/Business disciplines;

(b) Preparation of teaching materials/classes;

(c) Conducting tutorial classes

(d) Grading assignments, project reports and test/exam papers;

(e) Coordinating academic activities for students;

(f) Assisting professors to carry out research projects, such as collecting data and relevant information;

(g) Undertaking other work as assigned by the supervisor(s).
