Job Description
- Participate in cloud infrastructure hardware planning and manage the whole process of new hardware introducing;
- Drive the full proceeding of new hardware sourcing, validation, purchasing and deployment;
- Coordinate debug and troubleshooting effort with ODM/OEM, and Tencent’s hardware team and product teams;
- Response to all the requirement about new hardware introducing or hardware change from product team and resourcing planning and operation team;
- Track on key improvement or develop processes in Tencent Cloud Hardware Team。
工作要求：
- Bachelor or Master degree in computing science or electrical engineering or related majors
- Familiar with process of server product development and manufacture
- Experienced in project management
- Nice to have experience in working with hardware equipment supply chain and component vendors
- Nice to have experience in modern cloud hardware infrastructure design, server management, Linux, BIOS, BMC FW, virtualization technologies
- Self-motivated, passionate
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Chinese
