Major responsibilities:

• Management & external collaboration in large molecule drug discovery;
• Evaluate drug targets and develop drug discovery and development hypothesis;
• Evaluate & manage external biopharmaceutical drug projects for the interest of Hengrui R&D pipeline;
• Identify CROs and appropriate technologies to execute the programs and deliver preclinical candidates;
• Patent drafting and internal project report/summary writing.

Qualifications:

• PhD in biology/biochemistry/pharmacology and industrial experience in large molecule drug discovery is required;
• Familiar with biologic drug development and protein engineering with track record.
• The ability to conceive, design, develop, refine and adapt techniques to meet new research needs;
