Open Position: Finance Manager / Director

Location: Shanghai

Reporting line: Manager Director

Subordinates: 3

Main Responsibilities& Tasks:

1.Manages with maximum efficiency all finance matters (accounting, budgeting, controlling, financing, treasury, tax, risk management, internal control) and recourses in line with budget.

2.Budgeting and Forecasting, ensures that the financial strategy is implemented according to business plan through cross-departmental communication and coordination.

3.Cash flow forecasting and controlling, ensures proper optimization of cash flow allocation. Monitors the payment chasing and VAT invoicing plan implementation weekly.

4.Executes working capital management and investments & financing suggestions and operation.

5.Ensures implementation of company’s current policies, processes, governance, values and FI regulations, and is responsible for improving internal controlling and FI MGT procedures.

6.Manages monthly German FY reporting package and ensures them meet German HQ requirements and GAAP.

7.Analyzes monthly comparison of budget vs. actual, commenting of deviations and proposing of counter measures for each business segment.

8.Manages monthly Chinese FY reporting and ensures them comply with China GAAP and tax regulations.

9.Manages annual year end closing report according to China GAAP and German requirements.

10.Interacts with external partners such as Tax bureau, CPA, Banks and Lawyers, etc.

11.Communicates and cooperates with other departments and Finance & Accounting Department at German HQ.

12.Prepares special reports related to accounting and financing, and FI analysis and comments for MD’s decision-making.

13.Support to design salary system, do IIT planning and performance and appraisal system in the future.

14.Supervises ERP System (SAGE) and future ERP integration between FI and business as well as tax systems. Pay attention to the financial systematization, intelligent development trend and reasonable application in the company.

15.Plans and develops FI department and trains department members on those essential job skills.

16.Other tasks as per requirement of Managing Director and/or German HQ.

Education:

1.Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting preferred

2.Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar a plus

Professional Skills:

1.At least 8 years in a financial role

2.At least 3 years in a similar Finance Manager (leadership) role

3.Working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations

4.Understanding of financial trends within the company and in the market

5.Familiar with finance software

6.Good understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

7.Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
