Position Summary
This is an exciting new digital role in the Ice-cream CD team, which is tasked to deliver maximum value from digital way to drive business and organization performance by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and data oriented.
Location: Shanghai
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables
The successful candidate will work with CD team members to elicit requirements and propose solutions. The scope of the work includes but not limit to
- Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, usability, data, and supportability considerations with the business.
- Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
- Create clear documentations with process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to communicate requirements and proposals. Keep them updated to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.
- Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of the system, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
- Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and technologies related to specific business area. Research potential solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions with technology vendors.
Resources
The position will be an individual contributor role working closely with the business interpreter and CD teams. There will be no Unilever FTEs reporting into this role, however, there may be third party contractors this role is accountable.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with peers and demonstrate vertical and lateral influence.
Relevant Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. in a relevant technical field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Econometrics, or Mathematics). Overall experience of 5+ years preferred.
- BI & Big data project experience will be highly preferred.
- Understanding the concepts of system engineering, process analysis and modelling.
- Experienced in analysing the alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Be capable to communicate in clear diagrams and graphs.
- Be highly analytical, resourceful, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.
- Be comfortable thinking big and diving deep.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English verbal and written communications skills.
