Role Purpose

As a member of our small but seriously talented engineering team, you will play a key role in both shaping and building our technologies. Your scope will be broad, ranging from user-facing features to server-side components and libraries. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning and working with different technologies. And of course you will be expected to commit code on your first day.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications utilizing Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
• Work closely with the business unit and solution leads to better understand the requirement and ensure delivery quality and timeline
• Performing quality assurance and testing at the unit level
• Write user and technical documentation
  

Key Skills and Experience

• Good written and oral English communication
• College diploma or above in Computer Science or related IT field
• 2 years of relevant work experience is an acceptable substitute
• Have an understanding of Ruby Best Practices.
• Demonstrated experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS).
• Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT.
• Experience with developing APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with agile development process in collaborative environment
• Good understanding of performance tradeoffs
• DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools is a plus (Docker, Vagrant, Chef, Linux, etc.)
