Responsibilities:
? Maintain server availability and performance
? Apply software patches for SharePoint and related technologies
? Monitor and Manage SharePoint, IIS, SQL Server and storage trends
? Perform, test and validate backup and restore operations
? Deploy custom and 3rd Party Solutions
? Perform scheduled and ad hoc reporting
? Perform environment refreshes to ensure all environments are in sync with production
? Configure and enforce SharePoint policies for settings and configuration standardization
? Assist with disaster recovery testing
? Improve the organization’s use of proactive monitoring tools, such as SCOM
? End to end ownership and resolution of incidents
? Document SharePoint change management activities
? Liaise between client and third party vendors for support cases
? Work with networking, storage, virtualization and other infrastructure teams to setup and maintain business critical SharePoint systems
Must haves:
? Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
? Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team setting
? Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint architecture, components, configuration and administration. Understand the differences between the SharePoint versions(2013 & 2016)
? Working knowledge of Relational SQL Server 2012 and 2016
? Experience in ITPro related topics such as server administration for Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and SharePoint technologies
? Working knowledge of Active Directory and SMTP technologies
Good to haves:
? 3+ years as a SharePoint Administrator
? BA/BS Degree (Computer Science/Engineering majors preferred) with 3+ years of work experience
? High level of customer service ability
? Competence with testing, flowchart, and data mapping tools and procedures
? Experience with K2 Workflow products is a plus
