Job Description
Provides leadership and direction to sales representatives in order to deliver sales results that meet/exceed performance objectives while also establishing strong professional relationships with customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales goals and objectives for the assigned area through sales representatives by providing effective coaching in assertive selling skills and territory management in order to assist representatives in gaining access to key decision makers and influencing prescribing behavior to impact sales results
2. Develop the territory management plan based on the CRM segmentation to allocate resources, including the frequency of field visits and events/activities arrangement. Monitor and evaluate the sales performances for the assigned area to ensure that resources are allocated appropriately or utilized efficiently
3. Manage and motivate sales representatives by creating a supportive work environment, providing performance feedback through coaching and counselling, demonstrating positive leadership. Ensure sales representatives to comply with all of internal/external rules/regulations
4. Build value-added and sustained relationships with key customers at multi-levels
5. Monitor and analyze area/territory trends and challenges that impact business and collaborate with SM to develop/implement plans to enhance sales results and increase market shareRequirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical-related field
2. At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the central area (experience in DM/primary care products would be a plus)
3. Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience
4. Solid analytical skills, proven ability to create, execute and monitor business plans in a systematic process
5. Positive thinking and good team work spirit
