What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

• Coordinating and cooperating with IT team to provide the IT desktop support for all users of nVent China;
• Support for LAN/WAN/WLAN;
• Maintenance and management for local IT equipment and system, including but not limited to servers, networks, PC, printers, fixed telephone system, CCTV and so on;
• IT fixed assets management based on nVent IT & Finance policy;
• IT Procurement for all nVent Asia Pacific based on IT & Finance policy;
• Tracing and attending whole process of payment for IT related items.
• IT information statistics and analysis. Building and maintaining basic IT information database such as computer, telephone list, software license and so on;
• Write and edit related IT training documents to assist end-users to resolve any simple, common IT issues;
• Cooperating with IT team to complete other IT related works, such as Infrastructure, security, compliance, audit and so on.
• Other temporary work

You have:

• Academic background in bachelor Degree of computer science or other related major. Equivalent combinations of IT education and certification (Such as CCNA, CCNP, MCP, MCSE or MCSA) will be preferred.

• At least 5 years related working experience in a foreign manufacturing enterprise
• Experienced in interacting with and management of external suppliers & service providers as in purchase of services, IT equipment and in problem solving and troubleshooting;

• Good written and acceptable oral communication skills in English combined with the ability to communicate effectively with technology teams, managements and end users;
• Well knowledge in Microsoft system and software (Windows Server 2012. Windows 7, Windows 10, Office), TCP/IP and familiar with network devices such as Cisco switches;
• Well knowledge in OA devices such as telephone system, Multi-Function Printers, projectors and so on;
• Proactive, self-motivated and can work under high pressure and tight deadline
• Good communication skills with people at various levels
